So week 2 of P 90X is complete. I definitely am feeling better than I was the first week. Michael's already lost some weight, I've lost some and gained muscle which is the goal. Tony still creeps me out.

We're still truckin' on. Michael turned 22 on June 7th. We feel like we're getting old. Our 2 year anniversary is on Monday, which is even more crazy. Pretty sure we got married yesterday. Right? Oy.

These days are still spent working out, taking pictures, working, and spending too much time on the internet. Sounds about right. Last weekend we went to two weddings and a birthday party in about 10 hours. 1st wedding here, 2 hour drive to Wichita for Megan's 7th (!!) birthday, then an hour-ish to Hutch for the second wedding. It was a beautiful day. We're hitting the age where people are getting married (but it's still considered young). All I can say is I'm glad that all that planning and stressing is over with and we can just attend all these now.

I've been trying to get reading in since I know these last 2 semesters are going to be crazy and stressful. I finished reading Divergent by Veronica Roth, which I'd highly recommend. I'm reading The Maze Runner trilogy by James Dashner, and there are about 3 other books I need to finish up. Oy.

SYTYCD has officially kicked off, and I have my favorites already... I'll probably elaborate more after the first partner week. For now, I'm just happy they're back. Yay!

I know, I'm a slacker. I really don't have much of an excuse, either.

Life right now is consisting of sleep, working, hanging out with Michael, visiting family and relaxing. The relaxing part in particular, has been glorious. As has been visiting family and friends. A friend of mine, Ashlee, had a little boy a week and a half ago, and I got to take his newborn pictures. That was really awesome. I expected him to sleep the whole time, but he was awake and alert, and just hung out and let us position and torture him. Here's a sneak peek:

The other big thing around here is that Michael and I started P90X yesterday. My parents made it through 90 days once, and are doing some of the workouts again, so I thought we'd give it a try. It's definitely pretty hardcore, and I'm feeling yesterday's workout. Tomorrow I will definitely be feeling today's workout. Very intense. I don't mind being a little sore because then I know everything is working, but still. Rough.

I've also been fighting a cold... one of the ones where you feel fine all day and then it rears its ugly head during the afternoon/evening. not the most pleasant experience, but whatev.

All of my year shows are done for the season... But SYTYCD has started up (yaaay more Alex obsessing over dances...) and there are a few more finales to catch up on. If you need a new show, check out Happy Endings. Hilarious. We love it. This fall there are a few shows coming out that look awesome as well. Specifically Smash and The New Girl. More shows to watch and love and procrastinate homework with!

I think that's all the major things. I feel like I need a nap. I hate naps.

Instead, I'll go read some more of The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I've read a few books recently that are awesome... maybe I'll do an update with some book reviews.

I'm taking a quick break from my thermo homework to interrupt whatever you were or weren't doing to inform you that I got picked to do a guest post on my bloggy friend, Becca's, blog. She's pretty awesome, and she's doing a Career series. I wrote a lot of nonsense about what I'm doing now and plan to do when I graduate. First off, I'd like to say how horrible this earthquake/tsunami thing is that's going on. Everyone is my thoughts and prayers, and I hope everyone stays safe.

So I can't believe it's been a couple weeks since I've updated again. Time is flying by. I'm surviving the semester, even got the best scores on tests in Transport and Thermo. A's, for the first time. I happily freaked out a little bit. I'll admit, I miss the days when getting anything below an A was the end of my world.

Ah, well.

So, one week of classes left before spring break. A light in the middle before the end of the tunnel. Still no luck on finding an internship for the summer, and I'm trying to think of other summer options, as I'd rather not have to work at my current job all summer. If I have to, I have to, but I'd rather not.

In other news, anybody watch Grey's Anatomy anymore?? I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty excited for the musical episode that's happening in a couple weeks. I wasn't so sure about it at first, but after a couple previews and song clips I'm excited. Sara Ramirez has a wonderful voice (she did win a Tony after all...) and her character and Jessica Capshaw's characters are my favorite. I'm having a couple fellow chem. e girls over to watch it. I gave them warning that I tend to fangirl.

I promised myself I'd be productive this afternoon. I've got a guest post to write... (more on that soon... really.) and homework for next week to do. Not to mention it is b-e-a-utiful outside. Enjoy it while I can.
