It's been a month since I updated?!
Oopsies.
Well, since I'm avoiding homework, I might as well give a quick update... School is in full force, which this semester also includes beginning to look for jobs and everything. I am better at that whole process than I used to be, but still not great.
I also started an internship! It's with a little place in town that is sort of through the college. I basically help the chemical engineer in charge there with his projects. It's going great so far, and it's going to be a great experience. The people seem to be really nice, too. That's always a plus.
I couldn't just quit Hastings all together, because I love working in the cafe too much. So I'm down to two days a week, which seems to be perfect. I love it.
Last weekend, Michael and I went to KC to watch the US Women's National soccer team play Canada at the new Livestrong stadium. The stadium was pretty impressive... I got us front row seats, so we were right on the pitch. It was so cool being that close to all of them. Afterwards we got trapped and so we got a few autographs. The girls that came over were really nice and tried to get as many signatures in before they had to run back to the team. Here's a pic of two of my favorites during the game... (And I got Ali Krieger's autograph.)
Let's see... coming up, Sarah and I are going to the Sara Bareilles/Sugarland concert in Wichita... and then the week after that I'm forcing Michael to go to St. Louis with me to see the So You Think You Can Dance tour. Heh. He'll enjoy (parts) of it, I'm sure.
I'm still doing photography on the side... it's a great stress reliever for me. I took 4 month pictures of Eli on Friday, I'm taking pictures of a coworker's son today, and then Sarah's best friend's daughter's 9 month pictures tomorrow night. Kids are awesome.
Is it me, or does everyone on blogger seem to be pregnant right now??? It's just like all of a sudden everyone was expecting. I love seeing everyone's updates. :) (Definitely not pregnant here... no worries, dear family.)
Tomorrow Michael's taking the GRE in Wichita... so prayers for safe travels and that he doesn't panic like I do on tests would be awesome.
Okay, okay... I need to go do homework before I go play soccer with Sarah.
Here is where I'll say it won't be a month before I update again... but we all know how well that's worked in the past...
