A few prayer requests... my ex-brother-in-law (whom I'm still close to)'s mother's been diagnosed with a tumor. It's not looking good right now. If you all could pray for her..that'd be awesome.
The second one is MckMama's son had to be rushed to the ER after an accident at preschool. =(

I know of a few blogs that do this, and I think it's a great idea... I'm by no means a great, or even average photographer (I know I suck), but I want to start taking more pictures of life... So... yeah.

Anyone want to do my homework for me? Organic chemistry and differential equations. Yeeehaw. And tonight at my chemical analysis recitation, I had to do the one problem on the board that I couldn't do. That was an interesting time. =)

But life is good. God is great. I'm loving where things are going... So yeah.

To those who need it... that's for you.

But quite literally... there's been a lot of standing or walking in the rain today. Mainly because there's a lot of rain.

This would be my backyard. Well.. my patio... covered in water. There's been quiiite a bit of water all over Kansas today. It's even worse back home... where things look more like...


Yeahh... I'm pretty sure all of west Wichita could use some prayers. There's... a ton of water down there. eek. My brother and sister-in-law's apartment is completely flooded. =(

So tomorrow's my last day of computer training at work.. and then I can actually working.. which'll be nice. I love computers as much as the next person, but 4 hours reading about "Quality Service Every Time" and stuff... not so much fun. Oh, and I get to work a midnight release party in a week. Those are no fun either. Oooh welll.
I got an A on my first organic chemistry quiz! Yeehaw! I know that won't last all year.. but hey... it's a good start. =)

I may have used that quote before... Oh well. I love it. That's a great speech. How true though. I am exceptionally guilty at worrying way too much. Right now there's especially one thing that has to do with that picture right up there, but after many current events, I'm feeling more and more sure.

I don't think I've explicitly talked about what I plan/am planning with that.. But let's just say that tonight I'm going to be finishing up my application to that school right there. Step 1. There's about 20 other steps after that, but for now I'm just taking it one step at a time.

Exciting things are a'comin. =) But for now, some not as exciting things... Like studying for organic chemistry, writing up something for English and differential equations homework. Actually, I don't mind differential equations (haha! oh man, that's sad.) and I'm still not sure whether to love or hate organic chemistry. Buut I did spend 4 1/2 hours in a lab today for chemical analysis. That was not fun. At All. But alas, it's over and done with. So on to the rest of my homework.

Classes have started. I'm just getting a new feel for my classes and professors and everything. I have a feeling organic chemistry's going to be pretty hard, but at this point, I'm interested in it. Hopefully it'll make things a little easier.
There's a lot of new stuff coming my way for the next year... I'm still excited. =) Here's to praying that it all goes well!

School... more school.

I'm all moved into my new house... My roommates are awesome, which is good. They're great people and really laid back girls, which is hard to find with girls, lol. I miss my family, already of course, but that's okay. I know I'll be seeing them a lot. My house is a decent size with a lot of cabinet space =). My room's nice and cozy, which is how I like it. Mainly I'm just stressed about money, but goodness isn't everybody? Oh and classes, not ready to start those either...
That's about all I got for now.. I'm off to keep unpacking. hope everyone is all well.

So I was listening to WAY-FM last night on my way to marching band rehearsal at where I went to high school. (You should really check out if there's a station near you..) I was listening to Wally talk about stuff like he normally does. (I love listening to Total Axxess in the evenings with Michael. Wally's hilarious but can be serious and make some totally great points...) and he started talking about this song. I've heard it on the radio several times, but never really took in the lyrics. This is the chorus of the song, and I realized how much it rings true to me. I've been having trouble with worrying lately (gosh, what's new?) and Michael too. We're working together on trying to let go of all of the worries we have (and believe me, there's lots of them) but it's just part of who we are. It's nice to have someone who's going through it with me, because we can help each other out. We just have to tell each other that God will work things out the way they're supposed to, even if it's not the way we always expect they'll work out.
Especially right now, with school looming over us again, plus all of these future plans we're trying to work out... we could definitely use some prayers if anyone out there can spare them.
And if anyone ever has any sort of prayer requests, just let me know. I'm always ready and willing to pray for anybody and anything, just leave me a comment or whatever.
Anyway.. I'm sure this post wasn't even what I was trying to get across in the first place, but I hope that everyone's doing well. Keep trucking through hard times... Everything'll be all right. =]
