"We are only getting better. Where we were, that doesn't matter. Lately, everything is hazy, but I know what's true. Lately, everyone seems crazy, but I believe in you."
"We are Only Getting Better" by Joshua Radin
It's officially that time of the year again. We go from snow to a few nice days to "omg there's going to be tornadoes everywhereeee!" Yeah. And I mildly panic every time there's a tornado watch. No biggie. Currently I'm hanging out in the engineering complex. Open House is this weekend, and I'm helping in a few hours, so I decided to let my parents car reside safely in the parking garage on campus, and just hang out.
Of course, I didn't bring enough to work on, so I thought it'd be a good time to update the blog.
Though, now that I think about it, I have nothing to update on. We're quickly closing in on the end of the school year, and there's quite a bit to finish up yet. Labs and finals and presentations... none of which are my strong suit. Boo.
In happier news, I got to see my quickly growing nieces and nephews this weekend. They're as adorable as ever.
Evidence, though I really wouldn't lie about it. :)
Even though my trip back was good, sadly my little Bug didn't enjoy it. Something happened with the brake lines, so it's staying with my parents for now. Hopefully it feels better soon.
In other news, I'm doing my first maternity photo shoot this weekend. A friend is having a baby in the next couple months and asked if I'd take some for her. I'm a bit nervous, but it's supposed to be beautiful outside on Saturday, so I'll take that as a first good sign.
Otherwise, things are good around these parts.
I mean...
