I'm actually going to start off this blog post with a prayer request. A guy I went to high school with (he was in my graduating class) was traveling back to Wichita last night after playing baseball in Minnesota all summer and passed away in a car accident in Iowa. Apparently his tire blew, he lost control, crossed over the median and hit a semi. I didn't know him very well, but I had his twin sister in some of my classes and their whole family is very, very sweet. I can't even imagine the pain they're going through right now, so if you could keep them in your thoughts and prayers, it would be much appreciated. RIP Mitch.
The last day of the 30 day song challenge is one that I was listening to a year ago. I'm really still listening to all the songs now that I did then, but one I used in a blog post was "Freedom" by Run Kid Run.
So there it is. I completed the 30 day challenge. I'm pretty proud. After today, it'll be back to my regular scheduled blogging... the boring normal stuff about school and whatnot.
Speaking of. 1 class down, 2 to go for today. My Transport professor jumped right into his first lesson today, and I have to say, my brain wasn't quite ready for that. I think there was something about Newtonian fluids and viscosity and surface tension... I think.
My internet's being pretty unreliable at this point, so I'm going to go enjoy the rest of my lunch break before my next couple classes. Then I get to go spend a ridiculous amount of money on textbooks and such. Woot. Woot.
