Hey, look, it's been another fast four weeks. And officially one month until Christmas (yikes).
We're lucky I remembered to do this update at all. I just finished six hours of Gilmore Girls. Worth it.
Anyway. Viability! This is one of my favorite milestones. I know that everyday T2 stays put, the better chance he has at survival, but it's nice knowing we're scooting closer to the end. Another busy month ahead of us, including photographing another wedding, going to Paw Patrol Live, and my mom coming back from Alaska!
Reading my post from Thad at 24 weeks. I was worried about the nursery and finishing his rug on time. We do have the luxury this time of knowing the boys will eventually share a room, so the only thing I really need to do is build his crib. Which he won't be sleeping in for awhile but I'll probably do soon anyway. Then the rest of the stuff - clothes, car seat, rock n' play... that needs to all be cleaned but that won't get done until at least the start of the new year. I definitely STARTED his rug. But... like barely. I should probably get on that.
But hey, we've (hopefully) settled on a name. That's a good thing.
Unless you ask my dad. He doesn't think kids should be named until they're born. Sorry, dad. Your fault for raising a Type A planner.

How Far Along? 24 weeks
Symptoms: Heartburn? And some heart palpitations when the heartburn is bad. Not a fan. Some insomnia. Weird dreams.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Up 15 pounds. Back to my healthy pre-pregnancy weight. I think I'm about the same weight I was with Thad at this stage, even though I started at vastly different weights beforehand. I feel bigger now than I did with him, but I don't think I'm actually much bigger.
Food Cravings: Nothing healthy. Ever. Except an occasional salad, which then of course I don't have the ingredients for.
Best Moment This Week Month: Feeling more movement every day.
Movement: More and more, thankfully. Unfortunately he's most active in the early, early morning hours.
Labor Signs: None!
Gender: Boy!
What I Miss: It's the time of year I'd love to have a drink or two when I'm socializing with family and friends. I was going to say working out, but let's be real I haven't done that in forever..
What I Am Looking Forward To: Christmas! That's not really a pregnancy thing. But that's okay.
Milestones: Viability! Choosing-ish a name. Picking a day for the doctor to try and schedule a c-section!
We're too far out for me to write down what I think our scheduled c-section date is going to be, but I need everyone to keep their fingers crossed i make it until that day. The planner in me needs that to happen.
(Anyone else hear that laughing? Just me?)
